TRIBUNBATAM.id – The government finally continued the tiered PPKM for two weeks, starting from September 21 to October 4, 2021.
Even though it was extended there were some rule changes in a number of sectors during the period Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM).
The PPKM Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 were implemented for the first time by the Indonesian government on July 21-25.
The policy is an extension of the Emergency PPKM which will take effect from 3-20 July 2021.
The government has been noted to have extended the policy several times to suppress the spread of Covid-19.
After taking effect on July 21-25, the PPKM policy was extended by the government from July 26 to August 8, 2021.
Then it was extended again from August 10 to August 23, 2021.

Further until September 6, 2021 and until September 13, 2021.
The next government does PPKM extension until September 20, 2021 and means ending today.
However, recently PPKM level 2-4 has been implemented with easing in a number of sectors, ranging from activities in shopping centers, restaurants, to teaching and learning activities.
