Samsung has been regularly serving us three versions of its flagships for several years, which differ, among other things, in the size of the display. Many Android users have been calling for compact phones for several years, which was fulfilled this year by Asus, for example, which introduced a top flagship that you can comfortably control with one hand. Is Samsung going for something similar?
The Galaxy S22 gets a smaller display
We probably wouldn’t go that far. This year’s Galaxy S21 has 6.1 ″ display, while last year ‘s Galaxy S20 offered 6.2 ″ display. According to the latest information brought to Twitter by leaker Ice Universe, the Galaxy S22 will be available 6.08 ″ display. Thanks to the attached image, we know that it should be about the same size as iPhone 12. It’s not exactly a compact phone, but it works that way compared to most Android flagships.
The S22 battery has only 3700mAh. Yes, it’s true.
But S22 is Samsung’s smallest flagship phone in recent years. Its length, width and thickness are a little smaller than iPhone 13. I like such a small phone and I will definitely buy it. pic.twitter.com/BGADgJ2POO— Ice universe (@UniverseIce) September 17, 2021
This is also confirmed by the reduction of the battery, which should have a new capacity of 3,700 mAh, while this year’s Galaxy S21 offers a 4,000 mAh battery. By the way, the last time we encountered a smaller display was the Galaxy S9, which boasted a 5.8 ″ panel.
Do you welcome smaller displays in phones?
