1. Stop automatic download

That way, videos and photos sent by other people won’t be downloaded if you don’t allow them.

  • Select media auto download

2. Remove messages if they don’t read


Some time ago, WhatsApp just updated one of its delete message features.


If you activate the automatic delete message feature, messages you send to other people will be automatically deleted within 7 days if they don’t open them.


The method:


  • Enter WhatsApp application
  • Log in to the chat history you want to set
  • Click the button for the profile name of the person or group in question
  • Go to the “Temporary Messages” menu
  • Select the “On” option

3. Eliminate messages that have been seen (View Once)


WhatsApp has also provided a new update so that users can send photo or video messages where the message immediately disappears after being seen once by the recipient of the message.


This trick is called View Once which allows someone to send a more private message to others.


After the recipient of the message sees the video or image sent, the file will immediately disappear.

  • Go to the chat field between you and someone.
  • click the paperclip or paperclip icon in the “type” message field.
  • Select photo from camera or gallery.
  • Once the file is selected, click on the icon with the number “1” right next to the send message option.
  • Click OK.

4. Disabling the blue tick

5. Lock WhatsApp
