The corona pass was introduced in August when visiting museums, sporting events and for dining indoors in restaurants. The pass includes a vaccination certificate, proof of recovery from Covid-19 or a negative test.
Italy is the first European country to be hit by the epidemic and has paid a heavy price with more than 130,000 deaths.
