The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already introduced 303 NATO normative documents, said Colonel Andriy Pavelko, head of the Main Directorate of Bilateral Military Cooperation and Verification of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to ArmyInform.
According to him, the introduced NATO standards are applied in such areas as military policy, security and strategic planning, operations and combat operations, intelligence, information and psychological operations, communications, development, production and adoption of weapons, military and special equipment. , strategic communications and gender perspectives.
Pavelko recalled that last year Ukraine received the status of a NATO partner with expanded capabilities. This paves the way for further deepening practical cooperation. Now work is underway to fill the status with specific content, he said.
” The highest degree of our cooperation with NATO is the participation of national personnel and contingents in NATO-led operations and missions for the maintenance of international peace and security. Today, we continue to contribute to the Alliance’s peacekeeping efforts by participating in the NATO operation in Kosovo. Recall that the Ukrainian-American military exercises Rapid Trident-2021 will begin on September 20. They will be attended by 6,000 servicemen from 15 NATO partner countries.
