What you are sure to follow today
1. Football – Ligue 1: First big test for Paris against Lyon
This is the first real shock of the Ligue 1 season. Not very convincing since the resumption, Paris Saint-Germain faces Lyon (8:45 pm) at the end of the sixth day. For Mauricio Pochettino’s men, it’s an opportunity to build up the pressure. For Lionel Messi, it is the opportunity to find Jérôme Boateng, whom he had put on the buttocks in the Champions League, six years ago.
2. Rugby – Top 14: Toulon and Stade Français have no room for error
On paper, it’s a superb poster. In fact, the meeting between Toulon and the Stade Français (9:05 pm) is also a game to reassure. The two teams did not win during the first two days and occupy the last two places of the Top 14. For one or the other, a defeat on the third day would be worrying already.
3. Cycling – Road World Championships: Can Cavagna create a surprise?
Rémi Cavagna will try to snatch a medal. But in the presence of Wout van Aert, Remco Evenepoel, Filippo Ganna or Stefan Küng and on a route longer than that of the European Championships, the Frenchman is not part of the group of favorites on the individual time trial. To be continued on Eurosport from 2:30 p.m.
And also…
Other very beautiful posters of Ligue 1, with in particular the Nice – Monaco derby where the attacking trio Delort – Dolberg – Gouiri could be aligned.
