The reason for hundreds of people to ask this question was a post by journalist Georgi Toshev on Facebook. After a concert from the singer’s tour, the journalist and TV presenter wrote on his wall on social networks: “Everything has a beginning … and …! When and how…”.
Lily Ivanova sang on the stage of the crowded Ancient Theater in Plovdiv. The audience had taken all the seats, as well as the stairs, and the aisles were filled with standing ones. Georgi Toshev, I fully share your opinion. I was at the concert last night and I am amazed by the behavior of Lili Ivanova. It wasn’t stage behavior, it was a constant grumbling, waving at the speaker, skipping phrases, basically like we were rehearsing. An experienced professional will not allow the audience, especially a cordial audience like the one in Plovdiv, to understand that there is a problem. He will somehow cope with the situation – whether he will try to sing without betraying himself, whether he will make a technical break for 10-15 minutes to smooth out the problem, but he will somehow get out of the confusing situation, for which in the end after all, she and her team are to blame. There was a dress rehearsal or at least rehearsals, of course. The seats were sold 120%.
And the end of the concert was just absurd, not to say extremely offensive to the audience. Without any indication that it was over, after one of the songs he just went out and called the orchestra to come out as well. It was obvious that she did not finish the program, because the musicians and the backing vocalists stood like in an unharvested vineyard on the empty stage. People didn’t believe it was over, without an encore, and they shouted “More!” For at least 15 minutes, until they finally began to disperse.
