Returned without a partner
The two were with their camper in July left for a tour of the US, reports the BBC. On September 1, Laundrie returned – without his partner Gabby. Her family then reported her missing to the police. And yesterday, relatives of Laundrie announced that they have not seen him since last Tuesday.

The police say in a statement they are “frustrated” by the course of events. The annoyance seems to have arisen mainly because Laundrie’s family only wanted to contact the police yesterday. “We are not currently investigating a crime,” the police said, “but into a multiple missing person case.”
Friends of Gabrielle Petito gathered at the Laundrie home yesterday, shouting, “Where’s Gabby?” Her family has said through a lawyer that they do not believe that Brian Laundrie is actually missing. “He’s just hiding.”

In mid-August, the Utah police appear to have taken a look at the camper van of the two, who had arrived in Moab at the time. A possible altercation had been reported. The police had advised the couple to sleep separately for one night.
