Jakarta, CNN Indonesia —
The fate of the coach Ronald Koeman from Barcelona on the edge after the club board no longer trusts the Dutchman. Here are a number of potential replacements for Koeman at Barcelona.
The Barcelona board is in a dilemma. Efforts to fire Ronald Koeman have not found a bright spot. By firing Koeman, it means that Barcelona must pay compensation of 12 million euros, equivalent to Rp. 200 billion.
Meanwhile, the Blaugrana are currently in a financial crisis. The safest solution for Barcelona at the moment is to make club advisor Jordi Cruyff as interim coach.
However, the dipper did not welcome from Jordi. The former Barcelona and Manchester United player refused to replace Koeman. Jordi’s refusal made the Barcelona management think hard about finding a replacement for Ronald Koeman.
Koeman is under threat of dismissal after Barcelona humiliated Bayern Munich 0-3 in the Champions League. The Barcelona board is said to not like Koeman’s choice of players and style of play.

The composition of Barcelona’s players is currently doubtful of being able to compete for the title. In addition to swallowing one defeat in the Champions League, Barcelona is also still in seventh place in the Spanish League standings with two wins and one draw.
Despite being unbeaten in La Liga, the result still brings Koeman in an insecure position at Barcelona.
3 Candidates to Replace Koeman at Barcelona:
1. Roberto Martinez
The name Roberto Martinez is said to have been liked by Joan Laporta for a long time. According to ESPN, Laporta has chosen Martinez from several coaches as a potential replacement for Koeman.
However, it could be a difficult job for Barcelona if they insist on wanting Martinez. The former Everton coach is still under contract with the Belgian national team until 2022.
With that contract, Martinez has a release clause that must be redeemed by a big club like Barcelona.
