The “Youth Work” working group, which was founded in Oberglatt in 2020, has examined various types of youth work and submits them for approval.
As reported by the municipality of Oberglatt, a field of action for youth and family support was created in 2018 as part of the legislative objectives. After intensive preparatory work, the youth work working group was founded in September 2020, which has been involved in the introduction of youth work in Oberglatt since then. Various variants of youth work were examined. Ultimately, the outsourcing was convincing.
New tasks must be approved by the community assembly. The deal will therefore be presented to the community meeting on December 9, 2021. This is requested to approve an annually recurring loan of CHF 200,000.00 as well as a newly created position for the coordination of youth work. The municipal council has passed the business for the attention of the municipal assembly. The Illuminating Report will follow in November.
