How the Verberger TV increases its attractiveness and advertises in the volleyball scene. After the summer vacation, the volleyball department of Verberger TV resumed training in the hall for both youth and senior citizens. It was a perfect fit that club chairman Jan Moertter was able to present to the public the Acuspike, another training device that only a few clubs in Germany have at their disposal. – “We are very happy to finally be able to train with our teams in the hall again,” said Moertter, who is also a member of the volleyball department manager. “We are also very pleased that many of us are vaccinated. This also applies to young people aged 14 and over. That surprised us in a positive way. “ – Now the club proudly presents another training device: the “Acuspike”, with which the “held ball” can be trained. Including customs duties and shipping, the new training device that was ordered in the USA cost 3,600 euros. It was the second device that Verberger TV got financed through an application to the Sparkassenstiftung. With the help of the application, Verberger TV had already purchased a € 6,500 ball throwing machine of the “Globus Winshot 1500” type on June 21. – “The Acuspike is primarily intended for our youngsters and beginners. Here you can work on the technology, ”reports Moertter. “You can adjust the height of the training device so that the ball can be hit out of a holder.” Above all, it should also relieve the trainers in their daily work, so that they can concentrate completely on the movements of the young volleyball players. But it is also easier for Indians and young people to hit the ball out of the holder instead of the hand of a coach. – The Acuspike weighs 100 kilograms and has to be filled with 120 kilograms of cement in order to remain steadfast. “For us, the acquisitions of the ball throwing machine and the Acuspike are lighthouse projects with which we can draw attention to the Verberger TV and thus set ourselves apart from clubs like Rumeln or Moers,” says Moertter. – Due to the newly acquired training equipment, which hardly any other club in Germany has, Verberger TV is under discussion in the volleyball scene. This training equipment should not only attract more qualified trainers, but also many more junior and senior volleyball players to Krefeld in the future. – – .
