Ryanair plans to hire 5,000 new pilots, cabin crew, engineers and ground staff over the next five years. The Irish airline announced this in a press release.

Ryanair also opened a new training center near Dublin airport on Tuesday. The company allocated 50 million euros for it.
Ryanair says it will need the new staff to crew 210 new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft. With these aircraft, the company aims to increase its passenger number to 200 million per year by 2025. In 2019, the company transported 149 million travelers.
