In Saguenay, Quebec cancels logging on the Péribonka River in Lac-Saint-Jean, and will create a protected area. Opponents mobilized and sent 7,000 letters to François Legault. Quebec will discuss with the community to establish the limits to be protected. The minister promises that the protection will be for generations to come.
In Quebec City, after a year of absence, the Videotron Center will revisit the Pee-Wee tournament with some limits, particularly in terms of spectators: 7,500 per day, and a tournament that will only be open to 12-year-old players, because players 11-year-olds are still not vaccinated. A total of 144 teams from 15 countries will participate in the next edition.
