The action plan associated with the Ille-et-Vilaine regional mental health project commits the signatory partners for five years. They therefore contribute to the collective implementation of 23 actions, all led by professionals or volunteers from structures supporting people with mental disorders. The themes addressed to improve support include: promoting the participation of people and their caregivers within the systems, coordinating support between the multiple actors involved and developing mobile teams, crisis management and emergency, development of psychosocial rehabilitation policy and integration into the city, access to housing and going to.
The territorial mental health project allows a new approach
The signing of this action plan is a decisive step. It materializes and confirms the merits of the new approach introduced by the territorial mental health project: the collective construction of a mental health policy initiated by the actors allows an improvement in the life and care paths of people with mental disorders.
On the ground, already concrete
Already and without waiting for the signature of the action plan, nearly 10 projects have been implemented and supported by financial partners (ARS Bretagne, Departmental Council and State).
The opening, in 2021, of a grouped home in Saint-Malo for 6 people with mental disabilities to facilitate their integration into the ordinary environment is a first example.
The regional mental health project has also enabled the deployment of innovative organizations: mobile intensive care teams are now working at home. Thanks to telemedicine tools, the device associates treating physicians who can seek the advice of psychiatrists.
The various signatory partners: ARS Bretagne, Prefecture of Ille-et-Vilaine, Departmental Council of Ille-et-Vilaine, CPAM, National Education, MDPH, GCSM mental health cap, Regional hospital groups, user representative, representative of medico-social structures and social, social housing, representing multidisciplinary health centers, the Rennes mental health council and the Saint-Malo local mental health council.
