Manchester United took a hit when midfield goal agrees to new deal at current club – EzAnime.net

Man Utd has taken a hit in his search for a Bayern Munich midfielder, according to reports.

The Red Devils completed a brilliant summer transfer window, with top players Raphael Varane, Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo arriving at Old Trafford. Those three stars could prove instrumental in ending Man Utd’s wait for a Premier League title.

The last time they lifted the famous trophy was in 2012-13, during Sir Alex Ferguson’s final season in charge.

However, questions remain about a crucial part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team: his midfield. The Norwegian manager can currently rely on Paul pogba, Nemanja Matic and Fred in the center of the field.

Scottish international Scott McTominay tends to be his first choice, but the 24-year-old is recovering from groin surgery.

One player who will be linked to the club in recent months is Bayern Munich. Leon Goretzka. The 26-year-old has become one of the best midfielders in the world during his three years in Bavaria.

German media Kicker is now reporting that Goretzka has agreed to a long-term contract with Bayern, effectively ending Man Utd’s transfer hopes.

The new agreement will see him stay at the Allianz Arena until June 2026, should he go ahead and sign it in the coming weeks.

The German giants have not made any official announcements, although one is expected soon. Kicker claims that Niklas Sule and Corentin Tolisso could line up next, once Goretzka’s future is finalized.

The news means that Man Utd may have to pursue alternative goals in midfield in the summer of 2022. They were monitoring French prodigy Eduardo Camavinga, but the player opted to sign for Real Madrid.

They have been closely associated with West Ham and England star Declan Rice. David Moyes’ side is believed to want more than £ 100 million for his services.

Man Utd defender seeks permanent move

The 23-year-old, who can operate as a right-back or center-back, exceeds Solskjaer’s requirements.

Raphael Varane, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly are ahead of him in the pecking order.

As such, Tuanzebe was temporarily sent to Villa Park. Apparently he’s enjoying his spell so much that he wants connect with Dean Smith’s side permanently.
