The government requires people who enter supermarket and hypermarket using the app CareProtect. This provision is effective from Tuesday (14/9).
This provision is in accordance with the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 39 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) Level 4, Level 3, Level 2 Corona Virus Disease 2019 in the Java and Bali Regions.
“To supermarket and hypermarket must use the PeduliLidungi application starting September 14, 2021,” the government wrote in the regulation, quoted Monday (13/9).
Meanwhile, operating hours hypermarket and supermarkets are also limited only until 21.00 local time. In addition, the maximum visitor capacity is only 50 percent.
Likewise, traditional markets, grocery stores, and supermarkets are limited to operating hours only until 21.00 local time. Then, the maximum visitor capacity is 50 percent.
However, traditional markets, grocery stores, and supermarkets are not required to use the PeduliLindung application.
This rule only applies to supermarket, hypermarket, traditional markets, grocery stores, and supermarkets that sell daily necessities. Those who do not sell daily necessities can only operate until 17.00 local time.
Previously, the government had already required people who entered offices and malls to use the PeduliLindung application. This is done during the implementation of PPKM.
PPKM levels 4, 3, and 2 in Java-Bali which started on 7 September 2021 will end today. It is not yet known for certain whether the government will extend the PPKM again or begin to relax community restrictions.
PPKM Levels 4, 3, and 2 in Java-Bali this week are the eighth extension of PPKM Leveling. Initially, the government implemented Emergency PPKM on 3-20 July in Java-Bali, and 12-20 July outside Java-Bali. Then it was extended with the new term PPKM Level 4 on 20-25 July.
Furthermore, the PPKM was extended for the period of 26 July-2 August, and for the 3-9 August 2021 period. Then it was extended again for the 10-16 August period, and 17-23 August, and another extension for the 24-30 August period. the same fate on August 31-September 6th. Thereafter, an extension will be carried out from 7-13 September.
