JAKARTA – How to turn off the blue tick in WhatsApp can be done easily through the settings in the application. This blue tick is usually a sign that the chat sent to you has been read.
WhatsApp does display a check mark as a notification that the message has been sent or read. For example, a message that you send to a friend still has one green tick, it means that your message has not yet reached your colleague with problems because his cell phone is not active or there is no internet network.
If the message you sent is marked with two green ticks, it means the message has been sent and you just have to read it. As soon as the tick turns blue, your message has been read.
