In the X-Files series, the two main characters they played herci Gillian Anderson a David Duchovny, investigate unsolvable cases. And this applies to both extraterrestrials and strange paranormal phenomena. Mulder and Scully are known to a lot of people, because the series has become a cult that is not losing popularity even after a long twenty-eight years since its premiere. Commercially successful films were later made for the series.
David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson will probably never step out of the shadow of their X-X characters again. The series made them famous and made them world-class stars. In addition to this work, Duchovny appeared in the series The Town of Twin Peaks, Californication and Sex in the City and in the films Jones, Zoolander and Chaplin. On the other hand, Gillian managed to catch on to the series and, in addition to Act X, she starred in Sex Education, Koruna or Hannibal.
