Once available for Nintendo Switch, Pokemon Unite will be available at Android and iOS on 22 September. Here are the facts.
There are various prizes prepared for gamers who register during the pre-registration period. Starting from Aeos tickets, Pikachu Unite License, and Festival Style: Pikachu which can be obtained for free just by registering.
As of early September, the number of players who have pre-registered has passed more than 5 million registrants and seeing this enthusiasm Pokemon Unite has again added a prize of 1,000 Aeos tickets for registrants for a new achievement target of 7.5 million.
- Carrying the Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA) genre, in Pokemon Unite players will compete to get the highest pokeball score by eliminating jungles and opponents.
- Pokemon Unite’s gameplay is different from other Pokemon games which usually adapt the type-advantage elements, these elements are removed so that there is no type advantage over each other between Pokemon.
- Some Pokemon still have an evolution stage. For example, the Charizard character, who will start from the Charmander stage first, then evolves to Charmeleon at level 4 and reaches the third evolution to Charizard at level 9.
Like other games with the theme of teamwork, there are 5 roles that can be played by players in the game Pokemon Unite, that is:
- Attacker: Pokemon that have an advantage in dealing large damage but have a deficiency in weak endurance or do not have a large health point.
- Speedster: A Pokemon that has great mobility and offensive advantages and excels at making quick attacks to score points.
- All-Rounder: A Pokemon that has balanced offensive and endurance stats, like a fighter suitable for solo lines.
- Defender: A Pokemon that has high endurance and is superior in protecting allies to withstand opponent attacks. This type of pokemon will usually run together with attacker type pokemon that have a low health point.
- Supporter: Pokemon that provides support for the team with the ability to control crowd control such as stun, knock up or healing.
Meanwhile, Pokemon Unite has released about 23 Pokemon characters that can be used by players, for example Pikachu, an Attacker type that has a large electric attack to defeat opponents.
There is also Zeraora, a speedster type that has high mobility. An all-rounder type like Charizard who can shoot fire and melt the opponent’s defense.
Then, the Defender type has a character that has just been released, namely Blastoise with the ability to attack the opponent, and the supporter type is Mr. Mime that can stun enemies.
