RENNAIS STADIUM: YOU MUST BE SITTED TO DRINK ALCOHOL!

Faced with the still active circulation of Covid-19 in the department and the risk of contamination in places with a high density of people, the prefect of Ille-et-Vilaine has decided to temporarily strengthen health measures to protect the population this Sunday, September 12, 2021, on the occasion of the football match between Rennes and Reims.

Given the high population density that will be found around the stadium on the occasion of the meeting between the Stade Rennais Football Club team and that of the Stade de Reims which will be played as part of the 5e day of the French league 1 championship, Emmanuel Berthier, prefect of Ille-et-Vilaine, made the following provisions by decree which will apply to Rennes on Sunday September 12, 2021, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.: the sale of alcohol to take out as well as the consumption of alcohol on the public highway are prohibited in the perimeter delimited by the rue de Lorient at the level of the mill section of the Comte / bypass West, the rue moulin du Comte, quai Éric Tabarly at the level of the street section Moulin du Comte / West ring road.

The sale of alcohol in drinking establishments and restaurants is only authorized to people with a sanitary pass, seated in the dining room or on the terrace within the same perimeter.

As a reminder, since July 21, 2021 the wearing of a mask is compulsory for anyone 11 years old and over, in the queues, near the Roazhon Park stadium in Rennes 2 hours before and 2 hours after a match and in the stadium . The health pass applies from the 1stis visitor since August 9, for all sporting gatherings as well as in restaurants and drinking establishments where operators must check the visitor pass before taking their order.

Non-wearing of a mask and non-application of the health pass in areas where these are compulsory by ministerial decree or prefectural order, are punishable by a fine of € 135, increased to € 1,500 in the event of a repeat offense, and up to 6 months in prison and a € 3,750 fine for four offenses in 30 days. Controls will be operated by the police. For their own protection and that of others, the Prefect of Ille-et-Vilaine calls on all Bretillians to respect barrier gestures in all circumstances.
