George Russell will not become second man behind Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes. “I have been assured that I will receive the same treatment as Lewis and we will have an equal opportunity. I also know that we will race against each other respectfully,” said the 23-year-old British Formula 1 driver, who will take the place of Valtteri Bottas at the German stable next year.
