Alexandre Nicolas has just published in English a study on the spread of Covid-19, with Lyon as a territory under the microscope. The opportunity to look into the question of the mask but also to facilitate the search for the origin of contamination, which is often lacking in people sick with the virus.
“Our hope was to take hold of the reality of viral transmission”, indicates Alexandre Nicolas, who has therefore established a hierarchy of risks in Lyon.
“The busy streets come well below the terrace of a café. The risk is much less. After the café terrace, we have crowded markets. We studied that of Croix-Rousse which presents a risk. lower but still significant. The stations studied arrive below. Then the streets are good last of our study “, indicates the physicist.
The study also indicates that “one-way traffic is relatively uninteresting” in the street but also in buildings such as train stations or shopping centers.
Les Coulisses du Grand Lyon can be found every day at 12 noon on LyonMag.com and on LyonMag’s Youtube channel.
