Twelve people were shot or injured for another reason, including three gunmen opening fire on Martin Luther King Drive in eastern St. Louis, Illinois, and the case unfolded as in the movies. After the shots, the three suspects tried to escape by car, but hit a passing train.

At least 6 people were taken to hospital as a result of the whole action.
A MetroLink train hit the suspects’ car immediately after the shooting and transport services on the line were disrupted.

Authorities are checking passengers for injuries. Police said an investigation was already under way.
The condition of the victims is not clear. St. Louis police have called on anyone with information on the case to help.
