Taxi driver shot dead in Harlem shooting

The taxi driver who was fighting for his life dies after being hit by a stray bullet in the head last Saturday in Harlem.

Surveillance video shows the suspect that the police are looking for.

The shooting occurred around 9:45 p.m. Saturday night on West 131st Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard.

Police say a silver vehicle approached the sidewalk, and the driver shot a 15-year-old boy in the stomach.

That teenager reportedly then pulled out a gun and returned fire, hitting Kuldip Singh, 24, a nearby taxi driver (Uber driver, according to press reports).

Singh died Tuesday from his injuries.

The police are investigating the case as a homicide.
