The fog that affected the Tenerife North airport in the last hours has forced seven flights to be diverted and another 11 canceled, with arrivals and departures from different destinations on the peninsula, as well as inter-island.
The flights, which were scheduled to land between 7 a.m. and 10.30 a.m., had to be diverted to the Tenerife South airport, while the canceled departures were scheduled from 6 a.m., according to Aena sources reported to Europa Press.
In any case, low visibility due to fog has been affecting the Tenerife North airport since 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, which led to 25 detours having to be made on this day.
