Lot: one week to donate blood in Cahors

The French Blood Establishment is launching a new appeal to donors: blood reserves remain very low and the situation fragile.

This year, the summer period was more than ever impacted by a drop in donor visits to blood drives. Already during the summer, the EFS alerted donors on several occasions: blood reserves were already low, both due to the drop in the number of donations and because operations have been rescheduled.

Snack with Lotois products

In addition to mobile collections, the Lot also has a fixed donation point, 34 rue Charles Bourseul, in Cahors, open every week on Tuesday afternoon and Friday. But to make it easier for donors to come back to school, the Cahors donation center will be open for a whole week, from Tuesday 14 to Friday 17 September, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. After the donation, the snack will consist of Lotois products.

It is possible to go to the house of the donation of Cahors spontaneously or by making an appointment on the site: mon-rdv-dondesang.efs.sante.fr. The health pass is not necessary.
