The composer and professor from Aguileño José Luis Salas has been nominated for one of the Hollywood Music in Media awards, which recognize the original composition (song and score) in audiovisual media, such as films, video games, advertising, documentaries, music videos or television creations, among others. Salas has been selected in the Instrumental / Orchestral category for his work ‘The way to hope’ and will compete for the award with four other nominees in this same section: the Australian Luna Pan, for the work ‘Evolution ‘, the Canadian Milana Zilnik, for’ Distant Memories’; and the Americans Samer Fanek, for ‘Dearest of all’; and Yang Zhang, for ‘Recall of the fallen empire’.
The name of the winner will be announced in Los Angeles next Wednesday, November 17, the date on which it is expected that all categories of these awards, which include blues, jazz, classical, contemporary, pop, folk, electronic music. , rock, country and soul, among others.
