During the harvests of the Wine Route 2021, beyond carrying out wine-making activities such as tastings, pairings and tours, recreational, cultural, children’s, sports and artistic activities were also carried out, such as the first contest of “Art in Cask”.
Contest that consisted of the painting of 15 different barrels (donated by different wineries of the state), paintings that represented the tradition and wine culture of Aguascalientes, and also had a distinctive stamp of the donor wine house of each barrel. A contest that promotes art and expression, competitive development and the quality of local artists; promoting wine culture through art.
In Casa de Quesada, a winery that this year joined the offer of headquarters points of the Aguascalientes Wine Route, the awarding of the first three places in the Barrel Art Contest took place.
In this event they met with the artists who captured in 15 barrels donated by the local Wine Houses, the wine culture of our entity, and which will initiate an itinerant promotion route through various states of the country.
