Bruno Varela was seen yesterday on the lawns of the Victorian Academy and with a new look, to which he insisted on adding the good mood that characterizes him.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper is now in the final stretch of recovery, working with constraints, to be sure, but already pointing the way to a quick return to competition.

A sprain in the left knee, contracted during training before the Minho team’s presentation, on July 23, forced a six-week break for treatment and rehabilitation, a schedule that was fulfilled without any delays in the meantime. All that’s left now is to catch up with the ball and the other actions of the game alongside the other players, a job that could take a few more days.
The misfortune of some is usually the luck of others, they say. This is what happened to the young Trmal, 22 years old, called again to surrender Varela. The Czech Republic’s under-21 international has, moreover, shown enough quality to discuss the spot.
