AHHA PS Pati impose sanctions on Syaiful Indra Cahya and Zulham Zamrun. They played rough during the test match against Persiraja Banda Aceh, Monday (6/9/2021).
Syaiful kicks Persiraja player Muhammad Nadhif in the head during a match at the Pancoran Soccer Field, Jakarta. Meanwhile, Zulham provoked emotions by committing two consecutive hard fouls to Shori Murata and Defri Rizky.
“We sent (Syaiful and Zulham) from their training camp in Jakarta for doing something inappropriate in the friendly match against Persiraja,” COO AHHA PS Pati Divo Sashendra said in a release.
“It’s really a lesson for players to be more able to uphold the value of respect,” he added.
Meanwhile, the manager of AHHA PS Pati, Doni Setiabudi, together Syaiful Indra Cahya met Persiraja management and players, Tuesday (7/9). PSG management was received by the Secretary of the Persiraja team, Rahmat Djailani, and M Nadhif at a hotel in the Tangerang area.
During the meeting, Doni said that what his players showed was not worthy of being imitated by what his players did. He added that this trial against Persiraja provided important experiences and lessons for his team.
“The chairman, officials, and management of the AHHA PS Pati team from the bottom of my heart hereby apologize to the players, Persiraja management and of course the Indonesian people,” said Doni Setiabudi or familiarly called Jalu.
“That respect for the opponent is far more important than winning,” he said.
Meanwhile, Syaiful also directly conveyed his apology to Nadhiif. Luckily for Syaiful, Nadhiif accepted the apology of the former Arema FC.
“I personally apologize for what happened yesterday. Hopefully in the future I can make myself better,” said Syaiful.
“Alhamdulillah, my condition is better than when it happened. I thank the management of Persiraja and the management of AHHA PS Pati and Mr. Syaiful Indra. Thank you for the apology. I personally certainly forgive him,” said Nadhiif.
