Vidin district enters the red zone, and Sofia registers a decrease in the number of infected and moves to the yellow zone
A newborn baby, for which there is currently no information about concomitant diseases, is among the 34 victims of Covid-19 in Bulgaria in the last 24 hours. This shows a reference in the Unified Information Portal.
A 24-year-old man, who is also not known to have concomitant diseases, also lost the battle with the deadly virus.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in the country, 19,149 people have died and the infection has been diagnosed. For the last 24 hours the number of victims of the disease is 34.
According to the data of the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases, to date, the 14-day morbidity in the country for the first time since the end of July registered a decline to 282 people per 100,000 population. However, Vidin district is in the red zone for the spread of the infection with over 250 infected per 100,000 population, but the capital is already in the yellow zone with 229 people per 100,000 population.
The only area that currently remains in the critical dark red zone is Targovishte. There, the patients on a two-week basis are 530 people per 100,000 population.

The national information system shows that the new coronavirus has been confirmed in 13,936 medical staff in Bulgaria. The new cases registered in the last 24 hours are eight. One of them was found by a doctor, four by a nurse, one by a nurse and two by another medical staff.
