Two sisters died in the intensive care unit of the hospital: 4-year-old and 13-year-old girls

The children were admitted to the hospital on Sunday 5 September. They had symptoms of acute poisoning. The girls’ 12-year-old brother was also hospitalized.

In the city of Gaysin, Vinnitsa region, two sisters died in the intensive care unit of the central hospital: a 4-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl. Law enforcers check the professionalism of doctors’ actions. About it informs Main Directorate of the National Police in the region.

The children were admitted to the hospital on Sunday 5 September. They had symptoms of acute poisoning. The sisters died while providing medical care.

The girls’ 12-year-old brother was also hospitalized.

After the death of the sisters, law enforcement officers began an investigation. A number of examinations have been appointed. The final cause of death of children can be determined by forensic experts.

The police added that the children could have been poisoned by mushrooms or wild berries.
