‘El Festivalaco’ will fill Alcalá del Júcar with humor | Radio Albacete

The Festivalaco‘will begin on July 21 its third edition in search of promote culture relying on humor.

It is festival It is a great tourist attraction for Alcalá del Júcar and the province, since it uses the potential of humor and the differentiating touch of the gastronomy and wines of La Manchuela, to offer an experience for the whole family in a unique landscape. Pedro Antonio Gonzalez, Mayor of Alcalá del Júcar, explains that when the initiative arose 4 years ago, they wanted to bring culture to rural areas, taking advantage of the excuse of humor. The program is as follows:

Wednesday 21:

  • 21:00: Inauguration. A drink with Jorge Sanz at the Municipal Booth. Meeting with the actor in dialogue with the public.
  • 10:30 pm: Cinema a la Fresca. Presentation of the special prize 2021 to Jorge Sanz in the Playeta and subsequent screening of El Pregón (2016), directed by Dani de la Orden.

Thursday 22:

  • From 10:30: Children’s Theater Workshop. Taught by the La Cequince Company.
  • 19:00: Berlanga and Fernán Gómez on paper. In the Municipal Caseta, an exhibition of movie posters inspired by the centenarians of their births.
  • 21:00: The Juanjo Albiñana Show. In the Municipal Caseta, a fun show by the popular comedian Juanjo Albiñana.
  • 10:30 pm: Cinema a la Fresca. En la Playeta, projection of Rosa’s wedding (2020), directed by Icíar Bollaín.

Friday 23:

  • From 10:30: Children’s Theater Workshop. Taught by the La Cequince Company.
  • 21:00: A drink with Don’t get close to me! In the Municipal Booth. Meeting with the director and the protagonist.
  • 22:00: Cinema a la Fresca. En la Playeta, projection of @buelos (2018), directed by Santiago Requejo.
  • 11:45 PM: Gulf a la Fresca cinema. On the Beach, projection of Stay away from me! (2020), directed by Norberto Ramos del Val.

Saturday 24:

  • From 10:30: Children’s Theater Workshop. Taught by the La Cequince Company.
  • 18:30: Children’s Theater. In the Municipal Booth. End of course representation of the workshop students.
  • 8:45 pm: Divine Theater. In the bullring, it includes: a drink with Carlos Iglesias, tasting and tasting of local products and La Manchuela wines, delivery of the “El Festivalaco” award to Carlos Iglesias and the subsequent theatrical performance of La Celestina.
