Abinader’s advice to avoid COVID-19 before the start of face-to-face classes

Before the next opening of face-to-face teaching in the country’s schools and colleges, the President of the Republic, Luis Abinader, on Sunday urged the population to maintain the physical distancing to avoid contagion of COVID-19, disease that is controlled in the country.

The 2021-2022 school year will open physically this Monday, September 20 after a year of virtual classes and through radio and television due to the pandemic.

He said that the Government executes a protection plan to prevent the spread of the disease, which to date has left 4,012 dead and 351,738 infections, of which 5,226 are active.
