TRIBUNNEWS.COM, ACCEPT – A citizen United States of America (USA), a California native named Nasria who is pregnant, flew to Afghanistan last June to visit family and get married.
In early September 2021, he remained one of about 200 U.S. citizens left behind in Afghanistan following the withdrawal of chaotic U.S. forces.
Now, after the US military is gone, Taliban hunt down the remaining Americans.
That’s what he told the Voice of America.
“I thought, am I going to make it home? Am I going to end up here? Am I going to die here? What is going to happen?” said Nasri, who asked to write only his first name for security reasons, as reported by Foxnews.
He said the Taliban were coming to them door to door, trying to see if anyone had a blue passport.

Last week, Darrell Issa, a person who works to save Americans remaining in Afghanistan, said that Nasria had been kicked in the stomach by fighters. Taliban.
“Anyone who says no people were stranded is wrong,” said Issa.
When Afghanistan fell to the Taliban’s rule, Nasria and her husband, an Afghan national, rushed to the crowded and chaotic Kabul airport to evacuate.
She and her husband tried to reach the designated location for 12 to 13 hours but Taliban blocked them at gunpoint even when he showed them his US passport.
