Recently the existence of the non-XT model of AMD Radeon RX 6600 was confirmed through details about the custom model from Gigabyte brand.
But the latest information reveals that the graphics card has already been found in at least two Australian stores, where prices arrive marked indicating 505 euros and 570 euros.
Radeon RX 6600 from Gigabyte listed for 570 euros
It is not the first time that, before the announcement and official launch, some equipment is discovered in certain stores. This time it was the case of the AMD Gigabyte Radeon RX 6600 EAGLE GPU that appeared listed in two technology stores in Australia.
According to the details, in one of the stores the graphics card is marked at 805.2 Australian dollars (AUD), which corresponds to 505 euros in a direct conversion at the current rate. In another of the stores, the equipment comes for 910.8 AUD, close to 570 euros.
This is a higher price than AMD announced for the Radeon RX 6600 XT model for $379 (~320 euros). However, this graphics card is already on sale on the market for around 500 euros in our country.
It is estimated that the launch of the RX 6600 GPU will take place in mid-October, but the number of units available should be less than the XT version.
According to what is known, this graphics card will feature a Navi 23 XL chip with 1,792 Stream processors, 256 fewer and 14% fewer cores than the XT version. However it keeps the 32 MB of Infinity Cache.
On the other hand, it will keep the same memory configuration as its older sister, that is, 8 GB GDDR6 @ 16 GHz. It also has a 128-bit memory interface, thus offering a bandwidth of 256 GB/s.
It remains for us then to wait for more details in order to know all the real features of this graphics card, especially at what price it will, in fact, hit the shelves.
