In August, local hip-hop star Ansis will give a concert in Mežaparks

The concert will be largely dedicated to the album “Great Art” released in the autumn. The concert will be warmed up by rolands če. Tickets can be purchased today in the “Biļešu Serviss” network. Only the first 200 tickets to the concert can be purchased for a special price of 17 €. Entrance to the concert only with a valid digital Covid-19 certificate.

The duck album “Great Art” gained rapid popularity in the first hours after its release. It became the most streamed Latvian music recording in the first 24 hours of the music streaming service “Spotify”.

The album was praised at the music recording of the year award “Golden Microphone 2021” ceremony, awarded with two trophies, winning both the award for the best domestic hip-hop music recording of the year and the title of the best album of the year, which the rap recording received for the first time in Latvia. The album also received the “Austrian Award 2021” as the best Latvian music recording of the year.

The 12 songs of the album “Great Art” include guest artists such as rolands če, Kristīne Balanas, Kashuks, Gints Smukais, Chris Vader, Niklāvz, 181h, Oriole, Shenfi, DJ PM2THEAM, Didzis Bardo, Viesturs Melders, Elvijs Grafcovs and others. The recording was made in 2020, on the outskirts of Riga, and it was created in a small trailer room, which was turned into a home recording studio. The recording was mixed and mastered by ansis himself.
