The KPK investigators reportedly searched the house for 4 hours before finally checking into the house of Hasan’s second child, Zulmi Noor Hasani, which is right next to Dini’s house.
The search was carried out to find additional evidence related to the alleged corruption case of buying and selling village head positions in Probolinggo, East Java.
“Yes, it is true (a search was carried out at the house of the two children of suspect Hasan Aminuddin),” said Acting Spokesperson for KPK Enforcement, Ali Fikri to CNNIndonesia.com, Saturday (4/9).
However, Ali failed to provide further information regarding the results of the search. The reason is that until now, Ali said, the investigative team is still in the field and is looking for evidence related to the case.
“We will inform the progress after ensuring the activity is completed,” he explained.
It is known that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) previously named Probolinggo Regent Puput Tantriana Sari and her husband who is also the former Probolinggo Regent, Hasan Aminuddin, as suspects in the alleged corruption case of buying and selling village head positions.
From the KPK’s initial findings, the suspects have set a tariff for the position of village head in Probolinggo at Rp. 20 million. Not only that, they also asked for a village treasury land tribute at a rate of IDR 5 million/hectare.
Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Alexander Marwata revealed that this case began with the plan to hold the second simultaneous Village Head election in the Probolinggo Regency area which was originally scheduled for December 27, 2021.
However, the election was postponed until September 9, 2021. From that schedule, there were 252 village heads from 24 sub-districts in Probolinggo Regency who had finished serving.
In order to fill the vacant position of the Village Head, continued Alex, it will be filled by the Acting Village Head from the ASN in the Probolinggo Regency Government. The proposal is through the Camat.
In addition to Tantriana and Hasan, the KPK has also named two other suspects for accepting bribes, namely the Head of Krejengan Sub-district Doddy Kurniawan and Paiton Sub-district Head Muhamad Ridwan.
The bribe recipients were suspected of violating Article 12 letter a or Article 12 letter b or Article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Act (Tipikor) in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.
Meanwhile, it was reported that there were 18 suspected ASNs as bribe givers in this case. Of the 18 suspects, 17 of them have now been named as suspects. They are suspected of violating Article 5 paragraph 1 letter a or Article 5 paragraph 1 letter b or Article 13 of the Anti-Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
