Santa Maria delle Grazie is the church where Padre Pio celebrated the Eucharist from 1959 until 22 September 1968, the day before his death. Upon arrival in San Giovanni Rotondo, they stopped in front of the headquarters of the television broadcaster Tele Radio Padre Pio, which Carrà itself inaugurated in 2001. And there a memorial plaque was discovered.

On Sunday the ashes will be taken to the church of San Pio da Pietrelcina for the Mass at 11:30. Immediately after the celebration, the urn will be returned to the small church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. On Sunday evening, at 7.00 pm, the “Concerto for piano and trumpet, tribute to Raffaella Carrà” will be held in the “Maria Pyle” auditorium of the church of San Pio da Pietrelcina.
