It is, in normal times, the unmissable rendezvous at the beginning of summer. But due to the health crisis that has affected the country, this June 21 will not have the same flavor as the previous ones.
Big cities like Hyères and Toulon have decided to postpone the event. In Saint-Tropez, it is quite simply canceled.
On the other hand, it is maintained in Fréjus, but under certain conditions.
As far as Dracenia is concerned, the situation remains unclear. Announcements of concerts and other musical events are popping up on the Facebook pages of several villages. The way to attend, however, differs from one municipality to another.
We take stock.
A Draguignan
In the city of the Dragon, the music festival is postponed to a later date, as soon as the sanitary conditions allow a compliant organization.
In Trans-en-Provence
The party will take place in the heart of the village, with a few days delay compared to the usual date. It is indeed this Friday, June 18, from 7 p.m., that several groups will perform on the Place de l’Hotel de Ville, Place de la Victoire and on the Church Square. It will of course be necessary to respect the sanitary instructions.
Groups of more than 10 people on public roads are prohibited, so it is advisable to reserve seats on the terrace with the ten or so traders in the village.
A Flayosc
Just like the “music festival” which was to be held this Saturday, June 19, the event on June 21 is also canceled, due to the measures imposed by the Prefecture of the Var.
A Vidauban
Despite the still heavy health constraints, the municipality is organizing a free concert of the group D-stress (pop-rock varieties). The latter will therefore be held on the town hall square, Monday June 21 from 7 p.m.
Spectators must be masked and seated (in the places made available on the forecourt or on the terraces), at a distance of 1 meter.
In La Motte
Initially scheduled for this Sunday, June 20 in the town, the Music Festival is canceled.
In compensation, a musical evening could be organized as soon as the situation permits.
In Les Arcs-sur-Argens
The medieval village maintains the activities planned around the Music Festival on Monday, June 21. The public will be able to enjoy the musical performances of several groups while remaining seated on the terrace at the restaurant or on the communal tables made available. Place du 11 novembre, Place Paul-Simon and Boulevard Gambetta (only the part adjoining Place De Gaulle) will be closed to traffic from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.
The end of the festivities is scheduled for 10:30 p.m.
A LORGUES
The Fête de la musique will indeed be held in the city center. Several groups will be playing from 6.30 p.m. on Monday, June 21. They will be distributed in the heart of the village, near the cafes and restaurants.
Standing while strolling or sitting on the terrace, you can attend the following training sessions:
Traffic’R’Lines : Avenue Allongue
Pattrio: Parking Brasserie du Parc
Only for you : Nut fountain
Alain Sicard: Prox. Town Hall Esplanade
Tony Singer: Place Antrechaus
A Bargemon
The concerts scheduled for June 21 in the heart of the village are canceled.
A Salernes
In the land of the terracotta, the party will take place. The Théodore-Bouge course will welcome the group The Fresh Frogs at 8:30 p.m.
