Beyond a Steel Sky has a release date for consoles

Charles Cecil’s long-awaited sequel will be playable for more people.

Beyond a Steel Sky is the sequel to the classic Beneath a Steel Sky and came out to Apple Arcade in June last year, followed by one release on PC the month after. And soon it’s time for console gamers to venture beyond the steel sky as well.

More specifically, it’s November 30 that applies to Playstation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and Nintendo Switch, according to a brand new trailer that you see above. The game has received good reviews on both Apple Arcade and Steam, which was perhaps expected given that it is the creator of the original game, Charles Cecil, who is behind it.

For those of you who are not familiar with the game, it is a classic adventure game that takes place mainly in the future city of Union City, which in turn is located in a dystopian world ravaged by disasters and atomic bombs. The game takes place ten years after the first game, so it might be a good idea to play it first, or at least read up on the plot.
