The Children’s Foundation and radio stations CJAD 800, 95.9 Virgin Radio, CHOM 97 7 and TSN Radio 690, have announced that the Radiothon For children’s health, held on August 26, 2021, raised $ 1,321,603 for the benefit of the Montreal Children’s Hospital (The Children’s).

Since 2004, the Foundation and its radio partners have raised more than $ 26 million during this flagship event, so that infants, children, teens and their families can continue to receive exceptional, highly specialized care.
Broadcast live from outside the Children’s PK Subban Atrium, 21 young patients accompanied by their parents shared their poignant stories. They testified to the exceptional care they received from the Children’s health professionals.

Many listeners from the city and the province joined the Hugs by offering a monthly donation of $ 20 or more.
All funds raised are donated to Children’s Health Fund in order to meet the Hospital’s most urgent needs in terms of purchasing medical and surgical equipment. They also make it possible to finance innovative projects and services.
