Curaçao still agreed with the Kingdom Act for the COHO

WILLEMSTAD – During today’s press conference, the COHO agreement that was signed today in the Council of Ministers was discussed. The Kingdom Council of Ministers in which this had to happen had previously been suspended because of the statements by Javier Silvania in the radio program De Nieuwsbv.

He stated in it that the Pisas cabinet does not agree with the bill after all. After emergency deliberations by the Curaçao cabinet, Prime Minister Gilmar Pisas informed Knops that he agreed without reservation. The amended Kingdom Act will be submitted to the Council of State of the Kingdom for urgent advice. The opinion is expected within a few weeks, after which the bill will be sent to the parliaments of the four countries.
