There is practically no chance for an additional payment of PLN 3,000. PLN, for example, for the installation of photovoltaic panels under the government program “My Electricity”. – The government does not communicate it, but the money has already run out – says Bartłomiej Derski, energy expert of WysokieNapiecie.pl portals.
Derski was a guest of the “Money. It Counts” program on money.pl. There, he spoke about the changes that await those who plan to invest in renewable energy sources.
– The first change that is already happening is end of subsidies under the My Electricity program, because they have actually run out. It is important because the government did not communicate it, but if someone wants to install solar farm today, he must take into account that he will not receive 3,000. PLN surcharge – said the expert.
He spoke much more about changes in regulations that will change the rules for accounting for energy produced, for example, from photovoltaic panels installed on the roof. Details described in Business Insider Polska.

Today, households that use home photovoltaics, they put the surplus of produced electricity into the grid. Then they can pick up up to 80 percent free of charge. previously released energy at a time when solar panels are not working or producing too little electricity – we read in Rzeczpospolita.
The Climate Ministry proposes that owners of solar panels who will enter the market from 2022, they sold surplus electricity to energy trading companies. The minimum price would be the average selling price of electricity on the competitive market in the previous quarter.
However, in the period of energy shortage, the owner of the panels will have to buy it on the market – writes the daily note that “the purchase price of energy will be much higher than the sale of electricity surplus “.
As Derski explained in money.pl, the changes do not mean that investments in renewable energy will completely stop paying off.
– The payback period for a photovoltaic installation in a single-family home can be extended from 6-7 years to 8-9 years. It will still be a profitable investment if we are active prosumers, i.e. if we pay attention to the use of this energy at home – says an energy expert.
