Minister Tamara van Ark is leaving for health reasons. King Willem-Alexander has resigned the outgoing Minister for Medical Care.
It was previously known that she had to rest because of neck problems. “Unfortunately, there is no recovery at the level that I can get back to work,” she reports today. Van Ark also resigns as a member of the House of Representatives.
Her duties will be taken over by Minister De Jonge of Health and State Secretary Blokhuis.
