The band’s previous album, The Visitors, was released in 1981, but in 1983 the ABBA quartet divorced and has since categorically denied the possibility of a merger.

Under the auspices of Universal Music, two new songs were released in early September this year – the ballad “I Still Have Faith in You” and the sparkling “Don’t Shut Me Down”, and the new full-length album “Voyage” will be released on November 5.

With the release of the new songs, ABBA members have also announced a series of concerts of the same name “Voyage”. It will start in May 2022 and take place in London, especially in the London Olympic Park, which is specially adapted for these concerts. The concert venue is called “ABBA Arena” and has a capacity of 3,000 visitors. It is important to emphasize that the concerts will be a step ahead of time and digital versions or avatars of ABBA members will perform together with a large group of live musicians.

“Why this project right now? We want to do it before we’re dead,” said one of the quartet, Benny Anderson.

In turn, London as a concert series has been chosen as the most suitable – the best city when it comes to entertainment, theater, musicals. In addition, the group has always felt that the British see them as their own.

The band “ABBA” was founded in 1972 and is still one of the most commercially successful associations in the history of pop music. In 1974, the band won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Waterloo”, but ABBA songs were regularly on the pop singles charts all over the world from 1974 to 1983. In 1999, ABBA’s songs were adapted into the musical “Mamma, mia!” In 2010, ABBA was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 2013, a museum dedicated to the group opened its doors in Stockholm.
