Blizzard acknowledges the problem with the imbalance between factions

After a few replies to tweets, Blizzard acknowledges the problem with the imbalance between factions and that they must address it to find solutions.

Currently, the imbalance between factions, Horde and Alliance, is increasing.

In an article we did on statistics in World of Warcraft, looking at faction choice in all regions, the Horde was leading almost 65% versus 35% for the Alliance.

What does this problem translate to in-game and how does it affect players?

The most generalized and basic problem is the number of players with whom you can carry out activities within the game, which will decrease as you make more difficult content.

In endgame content such as Mythic + Highs or the Raids on Mythic difficulty, this imbalance is becoming a nightmare for many players in the Alliance, causing entire guilds and players to migrate to the Horde, still doing the greater the imbalance.

This can be seen very clearly in the Hall of Fame, where there are already more than 100 brotherhoods of the Horde that have been able to finish the last Shadowlands raid in Mythic against 53 of the Alliance currently.

Here you can see the Top 10 in Tabernacle of Domination and there is no Alliance brotherhood, the first one that appears in this ranking is in position 22 in the world.

The community is concerned about this problem and they have asked Ion Hazzikostas, director of the game, who has answered that they are aware that this is happening, that they know that where it affects the most is in the high-level content and that they will have to approach it to find solutions.
