For 48 years, US abortion opponents have been fighting in vain for self-determined abortion. This year, Texas found a cunning legal twist that shows the way for others as well.
–On Wednesday, several dozen protesters gathered in front of City Hall in the Texas city of Edinburgh. They protested against a new law banning most abortions.

17,754 days. It has been so long since the US Supreme Court introduced the right to self-determined abortion. In 1973, the verdict in the case known as Roe v. Wade fell.
Now this right may be in danger for very many Americans.
