Allegri “furious” after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo

Massimiliano Allegri has reportedly been “furious” with Juventus president Andrea Agnelli and sporting director Federico Cherubini for the way they acted in the transfer market, especially after Cristiano Ronaldo left for Manchester United.

Juve acquired Moise Kean from Everton on loan in order to “forget” the Portuguese international, but according to Italian newspaper Il Giornale, the coach was not at all convinced.

Allegri, who is back in Turin to succeed Andrea Pirlo, doesn’t believe the Italy international will be able to secure offensive production. Moreover, adds the publication, Massimiliano Allegri understood that it would be essential to further strengthen the midfielder. Manuel Locattelli arrived at Juventus from Sassuolo but, in the manager’s opinion, one more solution was missing.
