As a driverless vehicle, the EHang will be operated through an AAV (Autonomous Aerial Vehicle) command and control center on the ground. This flying taxi uses the 4G/5G network as a high-speed wireless transmission channel to communicate seamlessly with the command and control center, enabling remote control of the aircraft and real-time transmission of flight data.

Regarding the command and control center, it claims to be equipped with a set of intuitive AAV command and control systems that provide five core functions, namely monitoring, dispatching, controlling, early warning, and cluster management.

Meanwhile, when it comes to safety features, EHang offers five safety features, including hardware security, system security, flight safety, communication security, and contingency reaction.
